First Aid Training & Certification
Onsite First Aid Training
Many companies are training their personnel to provide basic
first aid to co-workers or customers who fall ill or
get injured in the workplace. Even in the best of circumstances,
it can take emergency medical services personnel (EMS) in
the community 20-25 minutes to arrive at your facility.
Employees can perform emergency first aid while they are
waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The first aid training
program consists of eight hours of training, all in a
one-day training session.
It includes training on how to manage the most common
illnesses and injuries, such as heart attack, stroke,
fractures and bleeding.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to use
basic medical equipment – including bandages and splints –
and will practice rendering first aid to other course
participants.
